DataDeal uses two categories of cookies. Essential cookies (login session, CSRF protection, billing checkout) are required for the product to function and always run. Analytics cookies (PostHog, EU-hosted; Sentry for error tracking) are opt-in and only set after you click Accept analytics in the banner. You can change your choice any time via the cookie preferences link in the footer.

All analytics data is stored in the EU (Frankfurt). We do not run session recording, autocapture, or behavioural advertising. PostHog captures explicit business events (login, analysis run, layer toggled) for product analytics; Sentry captures JavaScript errors without IP addresses or user-input payloads.
